Prove Your Canadian Citizenship Today.

Document Preparation & Application Support for Canadian Citizens under Bill C-3

You might already be a Canadian Citizen because of Bill C-3 (Dec. 2025).
Congratulations!
Now you just have to prove It.

Just discovered you’re a Canadian Citizen under the new law?

Congratulations!

Now you just need to apply for a Certificate of Citizenship from the Canadian Government by providing them clear documentation that does 2 things:

  1. Demonstrates your Canadian ancestor was in fact Canadian (i.e. naturalised or born there) – usually birth/baptismal records, naturalisation docs, census records.

  2. Demonstrates your unbroken connection of descent from that Canadian ancestor – birth, marriage, death certificates, name change documentation, census records, etc.

Canadian Citizenship by Descent: What is Bill C-3?

Bill C-3 gave citizenship to millions of people who were shut out by an unconstitutional rule. But the IRCC won’t just take your word for it. They need a complete, unbroken chain of documentation — across every generation — and applications that are incomplete, poorly organised, or missingessential supporting material get rejected.

If you’ve discovered your eligibility under Bill C-3 but feel stuck with missing records, unclear documents, or a confusing application process, I help you build a complete, credible citizenship proof package—so you can submit your package with confidence.

The Reality Most People Face

You’ve realised you may already be a Canadian citizen, thanks to a Canadian ancestor.

But instead of clarity, you’re dealing with:

  • Records scattered across different cities/provinces/states/countries

  • Old handwritten documents you can’t decipher (in a foreign language)

  • Certificates in formats that the IRCC won’t accept

  • Conflicting or incomplete information

  • The fear of submitting something incomplete or incorrect

If your application isn’t clear, complete, and convincing, it can lead to delays, or worse: rejection – having to start all over again (and it’s already not a short wait line).

My Services

I help you turn a complicated family history into a credible, application-ready proof package.

This means:

  • Identifying exactly what you need (and what you don’t)

  • Mapping your chain of descent from a Canadian ancestor. We identify every link IRCC needs to see — and every gap that needs to be addressed — before you submit anything.

  • Tracking down what’s missing. Birth certificates, baptism records, marriage records, etc. I know where to look and how to request them.

  • Making old documents legible and usable. Handwritten records, foreign-language documents, etc — I transcribe and interpret them so they work in your application.

  • Organising a coherent, credible submission. Every document organised in sequence, with a clear written narrative linking your Canadian ancestor to you. Not a pile of papers — a real proof case.

  • Reviewing before you send. Your full package checked for gaps, inconsistencies, and missing explanations before it goes to IRCC.

Who this is for

This is for you if:

  • You’ve discovered you may have Canadian citizenship through a Canadian ancestor (Bill C-3)

  • Your situation involves older, foreign language, or unclear records

  • You don’t want to risk delays by “figuring it out as you go”

  • You want to submit it once—and do it right

Important to note…

I do not provide any legal representation, and nothing in my offering constitutes legal advice.

What I am not (and why that’s good news for you)…

I am not an immigration consultant or lawyer — and this process does not require one.

Canadian citizenship under Bill C-3 (December 2025) is not an immigration matter. It is the formal recognition of citizenship that already exists in law, and must simply be demonstrated through cleardocumentaryevidence.

As a result, traditional immigration services are often an ill fit for this type of case — both in approach and in cost. They are trained and certified to handle immigration and naturalisation matters, which are not applicable here.

The work needed here is fundamentally evidentiary. It requires locating the right historical records, interpreting them correctly, and compiling a clear, coherent documentary packet that meets government standards. That is where I operate.

What I am…

I am a professionally trained researcher and historian, with 25+ years experience specialising in tracing, analysing, and interpreting historical and genealogical documents, and fluent in reading and translating historical French, Latin, and Italian.

I have personally gone through this process — for myself and my family — and have assisted others in recovering, interpreting, and compiling the vital records and genealogical evidence necessary to establish clear, demonstrable proof for their cases.

Obviously, neither I nor anyone else can guarantee a favourable outcome from the IRCC, and all final determinations of citizenship are the sole competence of the IRCC alone. What I can guarantee is that if you work with me you will be able to make your application with the best documentation available in your case, in the fastest amount of time possible, with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
